CalNonprofits is currently accepting nominations for prospective new board members! Only staff and volunteers of a CalNonprofits member organization are eligible to either nominate or run for a seat on our board. As part of our commitment to democratic principles and processes, two-thirds of our board is elected by CalNonprofits members.
CalNonprofits is led by a distinguished group of board members who together provide strategic guidance to the organization’s leadership and are hands-on advocates for its mission. CalNonprofits seeks a wide range of candidates who reflect the diverse landscapes in which nonprofits operate in California. All nominees must be employed by, or volunteer at, a CalNonprofits dues-paying member nonprofit that has been a full member for 60 days or more. Self-nominations are welcome.
